Blogs
If their is one thing that bugs me the more than my brother it is these blogs! No offense to anyone who really enjoys writing them but to me they have become a pain. I think they became boring after the second week of blogs. Even though they are free points they are annoying to write and hard to write about two new topic that aren't aren't interesting. I can't wait for next week. It is the last week of blogs! I am already counting down the number of blogs I have to write. Three more to go!!!! Two hundred and fifty words is an acceptable word count for a blog but it is hard to achieve it if you don't have anything interesting to write about for those two hundred and fifty words. It is getting to the end of the school year and I am bored with school. It is a pain to do anything during the last term of your senior year, especially work for my English class. For this week we have to write a farewell speech or a marketing speech and on top of that we have to read All Quite on the Western Front. We have to take one more quiz and a final test. I can't wait till these next two weeks are over with. I can really use the summer to get over high school and get ready for college. I am so excited to attend the University of Wisconsin- River Falls nest year! There is no point in even having a forth term for Seniors!

Hey! I LOVE TOO BLOG!!! Ahahahah I’m just kidding. What I like to do when there is just nothing to write about is ramble. It really works, just going on and on and on....getting off topic on the most random thing. And on the English situation, you’re already accepted to a college, right? So what are you working for anymore? So really you don’t have to do it at all? Just think about it. Good luck with all! :)
ReplyDeleteDude I feel the same way. It's hard coming up with a topic when you're uninspired and all. And it really seems like teachers are piling on the homework these last few weeks. But anyway, on a different note congrats! I hope you have fun there and meet lots of new people :D
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, whever i blog i feel like i want to be commited for being a narsisist. I mean it could be a good way to keep in contact after college with stories and stuff but all in all it's just a pain.
ReplyDeletePart of the challenge of blogging is creating interesting material on a regular basis. This is a creative writing course, and part of being a successful writer is practicing writing. You were encouraged to choose a theme for your blog so at least you would have somewhere to begin your posts. Instead of looking at blogging as tedious and meaningless, you should view it as an opportunity to stretch your writing muscles and BE CREATIVE. Maybe now everyone has more appreciation for writers who have weekly or daily deadlines.
ReplyDeleteAmazingly, I was once a senior...in high school and college. More amazingly, I survived both times....as will all of you. Do you believe teachers are some non-human entities who can only survive if contained in an educational institution and fed with a constant stream of papers to grade? Think again. We like the nice weather and summer off as much as you guys. Suck it up. It is painful to hear comments from people encouraging others to stop turning in work or caring about their classes and grades. Really, you'd like to throw away the work you've done for the past SEVEN WEEKS because the final eight days are too hard? What happened to self-pride or self-respect? Where has your whining gotten you lately?
